top 5 moments of 2012
2012 was a pretty exciting year! It had its ups and downs like they all do, but there were also some pretty amazing things & changes that happened. Here are my top 5 moments on Smitten Studio.
1. We bought this old weathered cabin.
2. We renovated the cabin (Still a work in progress but here is where we are at the years end). See all the posts here.
3. I turned 30 and threw a party! See the original post here and on 100 layer cake here.
4. I quit my full-time job. After building a successful product line for someone else for 5 years I made the leap to do it for myself and spend more time here, in my own studio. See more of my workspace here.
5. We traveled to a few really cool places. Like Big Sur and England and Wine Country.
Here’s to 2013 being filled with great successes, exciting adventures, and big big love.

Sarah, I LOVE this. I am on FB with Holly (we went to school together) and lived down the street (Zuni Drive). A while back I saw the wedding pictures and your blog and have followed it. You have incredible style, amazing taste and creativity. This is, by far, the best blog I have ever followed. I am inspired and impressed. I will buy whatever you end up designing and selling! Also, your photos are wonderful.

Hi Noelle! I totally remember you and that big pretty Victorian style house you used to live in. Right? For some reason I remember your house being a good stop on the Halloween trick or treating route! Random. Ha! Anyway thank you so much for the super kind words. You don’t know how much that means to me. Thank you! x Sarah

Your workspace is amazing.
I love the washi tape & the chalkboard wall.

My God, fabulous recap!
It’s funny, I ‘found’ your blog yesterday but remember seeing your 30th birthday many many months ago somewhere on the web (Layer Cake, likely)! And now I’m back and eating up all your posts. Keep up the great blogging, you’re on my daily visit list for sure (and I don’t say that often :)
