It was extra fun putting together today’s style post because I was beautified by my good friend and makeup artist to the stars Ximena Rolfe (she put on a smokey eye that I have been trying and failing at doing for the last 15 years) and then shot by Mike Carreiro, the same great guy that also shot my birthday party.

Now, about those clothes… I always prefer a hot hot summer but one good thing about the temperate weather along the california coast is that you get to wear layers basically all year round. This maxi skirt and graphic top was great for the day and then I just had to throw on the leather jacket to carry it into the night.
